Worked as a freelance editor and copywriter from 2019-2021 for Airbnb’s Digital Marketing Studio, helping produce smart travel articles, road trip guides, unique stays features, and SEO travel guides. Currently working as a freelance copywriter for the marketing team at The Shift Network, writing email campaigns, web site copy, and product briefs.

Worked at Lean Startup Co. as a freelance marketing copywriter, then Editor-in-Chief/Program Chair for conferences in the U.S. and London in 2016 and 2017. Emceed the Lean Startup Conference 2015 and was a moderator for Lean Startup Night and Lean Startup Week panels on innovation in 2016.

Consulted on content strategy, editorial staffing, audience development, social media strategy, and other related issues for various media, entertainment companies, startups, including: Bay Area News Group/BayArea.com, Noise Pop Industries.

Worked as Content Director for Oak Meditation, which offers meditation, breathing, and sleep exercises to encourage making mindfulness a daily habit.

Worked as Editor-in-Chief/Editor-at-Large of Anxy Magazine, a biannual, crowdfunded, and visually-driven publication focused on removing the stigmas around mental heath

Contracted by American Press Institute to research and write a best practices strategy study on the ways newsrooms can innovate to reach a Millennial audience; spoke on API's behalf on this topic at the ONA and the ASNE conferences in 2015.
